Degree Exhibitions

The Annual Degree Exhibition for undergraduates and post graduates, is the highlight of the academic year at The School of Art Aberystwyth.  Every May just as the weather is improving and spring turns into summer, students are busy finishing their work, cutting mounts and framing pictures. The degree shows take over the entire college, filling both galleries on the ground floor, two painting studios upstairs and occasionally expanding into seminar rooms and lecture theatres as well.

Every year the exhibitions showcase excellence and variety in the range of studio practice, including painting, printmaking, illustration, photography, film and animation, performance and installation. Reflecting the talent energy and ambition of our students, the degree exhibitions are the jewell in the social calendar attracting family and vistors from near and from far away.  

In September MA students are expected to complete their studies with a second exhibition.
