Andrew Baldwin  Printmaking tutor and senior technician at The School of Art Aberystwyth. Andrew's speciality is intaglio printmaking and for the last few years, he has been developing his own etching ground known as B.I.G. - Baldwin's Ink Ground. Eirini Boutasi Recently graduated having completed her MA in Fine Art, Eirini has become an excellent practitioner, skilled lithographer and artist. Eirini has had her work exhibited at The Hong Kong Graphics Art Fiesta 2010, Northern Print Biennale 2011 and at several Aberystwyth Printmaker's Exhibitions. She has completed residencies in Thessalonica and in Dresden and in 2013 she is looking forward to working as an intern at Keystone Editions in Berlin.


Judy Carpenter As a graduate from The Royal College of Art, Judy works primarily with processes of etching, drypoint and monoprint. Following a period of working at Leicester Print Workshop, Judy helped to co-found Aberystwyth Printmakers in 2005 - acting as a supervisor at The Gorwelion Print Studio and helping to organise AP's programme of exhibitions.


Danielle Creenaune Australian born Danielle Creenaune has become a well-established and influential artist currently based in Barcelona. Danielle is a multi-talented printmaker and works with processes of etching, lithography and woodcut. Paul Croft Tamarind trained Master Printer and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, Paul Croft is currently Head of Printmaking at The School of Art, Aberystwyth. Anne Desmet Anne was recently elected as a Royal Academician and has been a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and a member of The Society of Wood Engravers since 1991. As editor of Printmaking Today, Anne has a worldwide view of printmaking and she has juried several international art exhibitions. Tony Dyson has a long career in Art Education, teaching Art and Art History at several institutions including The University of London Institute of Education. His prints are held in several collections at both home and abroad including The British Museum, The Science Museum, Ashmolean Museum, The Leonardo Sciascia Print Foundation and The Harvard Theatre Collection. In 1987 he started the Black Star Press and printed for notable artists such as Paul Drury, Edgar Holloway and Harry Eccleston. Edwina Ellis Born in Sydney - Edwina Ellis has lived in the UK for most of her professional career and is an established artist with international reputation. As a designer she has won several major commissions including designing the Bridge Series of One Pound Coins, the masthead for the Times Newspaper as well as having her feature in London Transport's Posters. She has been a member of the Society of Wood Engravers since 1984 and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Painter Printmakers since 1986. Stuart Evans Stuart is Museum Designer and curator at The Ceredigion Museum in Aberystwyth. As a well-established printmaker and co-founder of Aberystwyth Printmakers, Stuart has developed his reputation as a linocut artist - making prints about the local history and objects from the museum. Ruth Jên Evans from Aberystwyth, has her studio in the small village of Talybont just a few miles north of Aberystwyth. Ruth who studied at Carmarthen and Cardiff Colleges of Art, is currently doing an MA at the School of Art Aberystwyth. Philip Garratt is technician and is the Co-ordinator for the Aberystwyth University Collections and Database - currently located at The School of Art Aberystwyth. Having a keen interest in the Collections and Printmaking - Phil runs courses on the History of Printmaking for the University Department of Lifelong Learning


Marcelle Hanselaar Originally from Rotterdam, Marcelle has had a studio in Central London for many years and is recognised now as a well-established UK painter and printmaker with international reputation. During the last few years, Marcelle has taught herself etching and lithography and she is now considered to be one of the UK's top printmakers. Maria Hayes has spent the last thirty years investigating the relationship between drawing, movement and performance. From her studio based in Snowdonia - Maria works as draftsman, designer, illustrator and artist and runs bespoke / community-based classes in drawing. As an established artist Maria recently received two major awards - Action for Children's Art Awards and The Big Draw- Drawing Inspiration Award. Wuon Gean Ho is fast becoming one of the UK's most exciting printmakers. Based in East London, Wuon Gean teaches printmaking at East London Printmakers in Hackney and is visiting lecturer at the Sitka Center for Arts and Ecology in Oregon. As a printmaker she is interested in multimedia - using relief printing and screenprinting as a basis for developing animation and film. Jo Hounsome Currently based in Bristol - Jo is a member of Spike Island Printmakers and she runs workshops in a variety of print media including etching, drypoint and relief printing. Shani Rhys James was awarded the MBE in 2006 for services to Welsh Art. She has won several prestigious awards including the Jerwood Prize for Painting in 2003, and her work is included in a great many collections, nationally and internationally. In 2007 she was invited with David Tress, Laura Ford and David Nash to participate in the portfolio celebrating 70 years of The Contemporary Art Society for Wales. As part of that project she completed an additional lithograph collaborating with Paul Croft at The School of Art in Aberystwyth.


Mary Lloyd Jones is one of the best known artists in Wales and her work, paintings and prints are highly acclaimed and collected throughout the UK and internationally. In 2008 she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree from The University of Wales. In 2009 her work toured to China and to Washington DC. In 2012 she had the opportunity to travel to Albuquerque and to work with a Master Printer at The Tamarind Institute. Helen Kennedy is a multi-media artist who recently completed her MA at The School of Art Aberystwyth, specialising in printmaking. Living in the small seaside village of Borth, north of Aberystwyth, Helen's work makes use of flotsam and jetsam collected from the long strand that stretches up to Ynyslas. Elspeth Lamb Scottish artist Elspeth Lamb has her studio Bon a Tirer Editions in Glasgow. Working in multimedia - Elspeth is perhaps best known for Lithography, Japanese Woodcut and Papermaking. Having completed a fellowship at The Tamarind Institute during 1985-1986 - she has since taught Printmaking at many of the colleges and Schools of Art throughout Scotland. She has exhibited widely nationally and internationally and has written the book Papermaking for Artists - part of the A&C Black Series of Printmaking Handbooks.


Sam Lazkani Syrian artist and Lecturer at The University of Damascus, Sam is currently working for his PhD at The School of Art Aberystwyth. Having completed his MA at the Academy of Arts in Beijing - Sam is interested in researching the influence of Chinese block printing and book arts on Western traditions of printmaking. This research is leading him to develop a series of artists books that involve intricate paper-cut designs and woodblocks etched using lasers.


Judy Macklin Printmaker, Sculptor and Teacher - Judy Macklin has been exploring multimedia printmaking - combining woodcut, linocut, chine colle and collage. During the last couple of years she has become increasingly interested in looking at the relationship between Art and the Sciences and this has led to exciting projects abroad in Tucson, Romania, New Zealand, Spain and next year - in Australia. Richard Noyce Author, researcher, critic and curator, Richard Noyce has been a keen and enthusiastic advocate of Printmaking for many years - having written several books on contemporary printmaking - including Printmaking at The Edge and Critical Mass: Printmaking Beyond the Edge. Richard regularly adjudicates on International Exhibitions - including Krakow, Wrexham, Prague and Thessalonika. Ben Partridge is currently studying MA Fine Art at The School of Art Aberystwyth. Although Ben started out as a printmaker - he has become interested in film making - combining elements of photo-etching, photoplate lithography with stop frame Super 8 film, animation and collage - using footage that he has acquired from eBay. In 2012 - one of his films was shortlisted and included in the Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival at the ICA in London.

Sarah Poland is currently studying MA Fine Art at The School of Art Aberystwyth, specialising between drawing and painting, printmaking - lithography. Andy Polk is Head of Printmaking at The School of Art,  University of Arizona in Tucson, USA. As a multimedia art - Andy works across painting, printmaking, drawing and video - however his real passion is for stone and plate lithography. In 2008 he helped curate the International Portfolio The Machine Stops Inkjet My Foot that included 25 artists from USA, UK and Spain - shown at The Southern Graphics Council Conference in Richmond. Kathryn Polk Artist, printmaker and instructor, Kathryn Polk has an international reputation as a lithographer and her work is held in prominent collections in countries across the world including, China, New Zealand, UK, France and elsewhere. She is part owner of L-VIS Press in Tucson and works as a collaborating printer and instructor of lithography. Cerese Vaden is Associate Professor at The School of Art, University of Arizona in Tucson, USA. As a multimedia artist - Cerese teaches drawing, water-colour, printmaking and book art and bookmaking. As a printmaker Cerese works with etching, mixed media and assemblage. In 2002 she was appointed a director of Landfall Press. Gini Wade Artist and printmaker has a long well established reputation as an illustrator of books and her portfolio of work in this genre is impressive. In 2010 Gini completed her MA at The School of Art in Aberystwyth - specialising in lithography and animation. Currently Gini is chairman of Aberystwyth Printmakers and she also contributes to the running of the workshop at The Sydney Nolan Trust at The Rodd. Chris Webster Dr Chris Webster is lecturer, researcher and Head of Photography at The School of Art in Aberystwyth. Pete Williams is owner - director and manager of the Print Market Project in Canton, Cardiff - an experimental print studio that specialises in Etching, Lithography, screenprinting and sculpture. As a maverick - Pete is something of a pioneer for developing ambitious print projects that get printmaking out into the streets. Pete has exhibited widely - internationally and has completed residencies in China and USA. In 2009 he was artist in residence at Aberystwyth Arts Centre and he collaborated with Paul Croft to produce two lithographs.
